VBC has adopted as its motto a quote from William Carey, who is known as the Father of Modern Missions:

"Expect great things from God; Attempt great things for God."  

God is leading VBC to step out into areas that, for us, are uncharted waters.  We haven't sailed this way before.  But we're expecting that God has great things ahead for us...so we're going to attempt great things for Him.
